  • Remember one appliance to one socket. Using multi-way adaptors can cause the socket to overheat and catch fire.
  • Keep lead lengths to a minimum. Trailing wires are a potential hazard even when power is switched off.
  • Never put leads under carpets. This causes wear to the cable, which can overheat.
  • Never fix leads with metal staples.
  • For any electrical repairs, consult a qualified electrician.
